I've filmed a fighter making a comeback at 39, a kid who grew up in foster care, the CEO of Qualcomm, and a family fifty years into running the same company. Different rooms, same job: find the thing that makes someone worth paying attention to, then build the film around it.
Over a decade of it, from San Diego to remote islands in Micronesia. Documentary, brand films, and commercials for Fortune, Rivian, Fair Trade USA, the San Diego Zoo, and nonprofits with eleven people on staff. The budget changes. The job doesn't.
Now I'm building Missionist, my own studio, and directing The Missionists, a documentary series about people who gave their lives to a mission. It's the reason the rest of this exists.
