When Fair Trade USA reached out about their Purchase With Purpose campaign, I knew right away it was something I wanted to be part of. Their mission — showing how everyday shopping can make a real difference — lines up perfectly with why I started Missionist Media in the first place.
We handled everything from concept to final delivery — writing, casting, production, and post. The goal was simple but meaningful: tell a story about impact through small, everyday moments.
Over two shoot days, we built out scripted scenes that felt real — people in kitchens, grocery stores, and homes. Even though it was all staged, the goal was to make it feel authentic and human while keeping it cinematic enough to carry the weight of the message.
In post, we leaned into tone and emotion — dialing in color, pacing, and sound to make it feel honest and warm. The finished films ran across TV, digital, and social, giving Fair Trade USA a flexible set of pieces to share their story wherever people are watching.
Projects like this are why I do what I do. When storytelling meets purpose, video turns into something more than content — it becomes connection.
